And that said, yes, there are a lot of inconsiderate partners out there. And plenty of people who simply have trouble controlling their desires. Problems are not caused by “things” but by how we relate to them. Most adults can handle erotica without a problem. And there’s so much money to be made with therapy, if you can convince people they have a “condition” that requires “treatment.”

Look….people get “treated” for all kinds of conditions. The bottom line is that most of us have enough self-control and sense of moderation to handle most sensual delights – including erotica. And some just can’t stay away from the dessert cart.

I don’t think lack of control makes viewing erotica an “addiction.”
